Christian Learning
We offer Sunday School classes for children of all ages.
Children and youth (ages 2-Grade 12) are using resources from Life Together. Each lesson is based upon the scripture readings used in Sunday worship and reinforced in the pastor's sermon. Also, the lessons are designed to focus on the primary activities of congregational life (worship, faith formation, preaching).

Adult classes - for all ages.
We currently have three classes for adults using the David C. Cook "Bible-in-Life" series. Upcoming studies include:

Confirmation Instruction:
Confirmation classes (8th and 9th Grade) are taught in partnership with Grace Lutheran, Winchester. The two year program includes "Lost & Found" (a VA Synod sponsored youth event), Confirmation Camp, and Learning Events that are held on four Saturdays each year. Topic of study include: Creation and Redemption, Word of God, Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, Creeds, The Lord's Prayer, Ten Comandments, and Discipleship.
All students who will be in 8th and 9th grades for the 2004 - 2005 school year and who wish to participate should contact the church office 465-5456. There will also be a manditory meeeting of parents and students on September 19th 2004 at 12:30PM (lunch included) at Grace Lutheran Winchester.
