Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Brumback was born in Winchester, Virginia. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran (Cedar Creek Grade, Winchester) on June 2, 1968.
After moving away from the area during his early years, his family returned to settle in Martinsburg, West Virginia in 1979.
There he completed 6th - 12th grades, graduating from Hedgesville High School in 1986. During high school he was active in the concert, jazz, and marching bands. He marched with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 1986.
He attended Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, WV and graduated in 1991 with a BS degree in accounting. After college he worked in public accounting and passed the CPA examination.
He entered the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in the fall of 1993 and graduated in 1997. He served as a supply pastor for the Virginia Synod, ELCA in Luray until being called to Lebanon-St. Paul Lutheran Parish in 1999.
Pastor Brumback currently serves as the chairperson of the Virginia Missions Committee for the Virginia Synod, ELCA. He has a private pilot license for single engine aircraft.
